A Vice presidente da ITT Corporation, Brenda Reichelderfer, Anunciou que a ITT irá expander a sua presence na india Ao abrir quer fábricas quer empresas comerciais.
“Esperamos aumentar a distribuição de produtos nos mercados para água limpa e suja bem como processos de tratamento de água (no Sul da Ásia) com produtos desenvolvidos e fabricados aqui,” disse ela no dia mundial da água na India.
Para além de substituir as infraestruturas obsoletas e adiciionar novas tecnologias, deve haver mais educação, pesquisa e planeamento que requer um esforço conjunto. Ela acrescentou que soluções a uma pequena escala independentes da infraestrutura são essenciais para lever água potável e saneamento às populações.
